NOVI LAZI PRI KOČEVSKI REKI, 9.12. 2011
Report was made by UFO researcher Miran Komel. In one of the photographs of the garden or surroundings of the house in Novi Lazi near Kočevska Reka on 9.12.2021, I noticed an unusual object in the distance above the woods when I was looking at one of the photographs. When magnified, it turned out to be a flying object, which cannot be compared with the familiar flying devices, birds, lanterns, etc. It was flying at a height of about 50m, about 500m away from our house and about the size of a car. It made no sound as it flew, and its speed must have been exceptional, because it is not visible in other photographs taken at intervals of a few seconds. The object does not have sharp contours when magnified. There are several possible factors; the object is surrounded by a propulsive energy plasma, it is the result of high speed, it is a masking of the actual shape, etc.
In the south-eastern part of our village (Novi Lazi), there is a strip of mixed coniferous and deciduous forest along the local road. So, the UFO flew a little behind this forest, so the lens caught part of the branches of one of the deciduous trees in front. These trees turn green through the season and in all likelihood a shot like this would not have been possible. Zooming in on the UFO reveals a structure in the central part that looks most like a tuning fork or a stretched-out letter z. There are also a lot of birds around, so for distant shots, great care is needed in identification. Otherwise, I know the terrain here quite well from my days in the police, so my estimates of the area may be a little more accurate.
NOVI LAZI PRI KOČEVSKI REKI, 18.9. 2011
Report was made by UFO researcher Miran Komel. As a member of the Kočevje Aviation Club, I attended the blessing of the newly built chapel in honour of St. Joseph Kupertinsky - the patron saint of aviators - on 18.9.2011 at the VPS (runway) in Novi Lazi near Kočevska Reka. I took a few photos on the occasion. Later, I noticed a small dot on one of them (the photo of the chapel). When I zoomed in, it turned out to be a UFO, somewhat cylindrical in shape, with the lower part of the UFO resembling the landing sled of a helicopter we are familiar with. The object appears in only one of several consecutive photographs, which probably means that it was flying at high speed. There were more than 50 people present at the time of the celebration and, as I recall, there was nothing else officially in the air at the time. A few days later I went back to the place where the photograph was taken and, based on the position of the UFO, calculated that it was about 1 kilometre away and flying at a height of about 100m. It made no sound as it flew. Its actual size cannot be determined from the photograph taken.
REŠKO JEZERO PRI KOČEVSKI REKI, 15.8. 2012
Report was made by UFO researcher Miran Komel. On 15.8.2012 I went to Reško jezero near Kočevska Reka to take some photos of the beautiful nature. The next day, when I was looking at them, I noticed a silhouette of a helicopter over a forest or a hill. I estimated its distance was at about 1km. Magnification shows that it is actually a UFO, which in this case, not unusually, has chosen the shape of a familiar helicopter as its camouflage technique. This, of course, is to distract our (human) attention. It is not only the lack of the main rotor ellipse and the tail stabiliser, or rotor, that gives it away in detail, but also its vague, or blurred, image. Last but not least, this "helicopter" also has a rather strange flared fuselage shape, which is not very typical of "our" helicopters. And another characteristic (not only for this case), as far as I know, the rattling that is characteristic of a helicopter was not heard at that time.

END OF JULY OR BEGINNING OF AUGUST 2021, KRŠKO
Person reported that in the evening (around 20.00h or so), while being in front of his house in Krško, he saw a sphere or ball of light traveling in south-east direction (direction Dobova) for about 10 seconds. "Orb" then vanished in the distance and he couldn't see it anymore. He said "it" was silent and that he is sure it wasn't a plane, satellite or drone. He didn't have his mobile phone on him to film it.

Report from two hunters that shot photos while driving from the forest. One of them is former military, now in retirement, he took the photos.
Accordingly to the author of images, he was taking photos of fog above what seems to be Drenje village across the slovenian-croatian border (cca. between 1,5-2 km air distance) from the hill. Shots were taken in approximately 1 or 1,5 second interval.

UFO OVER KRSKO NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Recorded with cell phone on October 24, 2008 near the Krško Nuclear power plant in Slovenia. A person working at the nuclear power plant recorded this UFO early in the morning. Also a Russian newspaper reported that a UFO was seen above the Krško Nuclear Power Plant in Krško, Slovenia, on several occasions between October 13 and October 16, 2008. This might explain the roughly five minute power outages that occurred in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana and other cities and towns throughout the country during the UFO sightings, reported paranormal researcher Bill Knell from New York. A male passenger that was aboard an Adria Airlines flight headed to Ljubljana, sent Bill Knell an email about a UFO sighting he had. He is an American currently working in Slovenia: "We were getting ready to land in Ljubljana around 1430 hours when the aircraft started shaking briefly. There were not more than fifty people aboard and we're all used to the kind of turbulence that you get flying over Slovenia. This was different. It put us all on edge. Some of the passengers on the port side started yelling. Every looked out the windows and saw a glowing light that kept changing colors. It sparkled purple, red, green, blue. The light was oblong and kept flipping over. After a minute it blinked out and was gone." The passenger said that he and the other passengers saw several aircraft near the UFO, but told me that they did not appear to be military. The flight crew never said anything about the UFO and no one from his flight talked about it after the plane landed. He did hear several people in the airport saying that they saw a UFO during another flight, but he was afraid to ask them about it. There were more armed security officers roaming the airport that evening than he was used to and that made him cautious.

UFO OVER NOVO MESTO 19. JULY 2010
Four Novo mesto residents were supposed to observe for a few minutes an unknown flying object, which then disappeared in the distance at high speed. No one informed the Novo mesto police.
Residents of Novo mesto and its surroundings observed "an unknown flying object moving silently across the sky from Sunday to Monday night" the reader informed us. That something was really in the sky is proved by the photographs and also by the recording provided to us by the reader. He wrote that he observed it at approximately at 10.30 pm, about an hour later the phenomenon was also visible in the Dolenjska metropolis (Novo mesto). Four people watched it for a few minutes, after which it allegedly disappeared in the distance at high speed. The Novo mesto Police Department did not receive any notifications about the possible appearance of an unknown flying object.

The photos were supposed to be taken at 9.50 in the morning, when Aljaž Papež from the Sevnica Institute for Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Activities was shooting a tourist postcard in Lisca. At first he didn't notice anything unusual in the sky, only later, after inspecting the material, did he become aware of the flattened grayish dot. Several people around Slovenia have seen strange moving lights in the sky in recent days. Various online media have reported seeing various suspicious moving lights in our skies and in neighboring Italy. Several people also saw unknown lights above Ljutomer. Eyewitnesses who sent us the video below said that on September 15, around 10 pm, they noticed strangely moving lights in the sky that formed in a line. Before one of them started filming with his cell phone, the three lights had already leveled in a row, and a fourth was traveling between them and also lined up in a straight line with the others. When all the lights were aligned, they disappeared. In September, these lights were also seen elsewhere in Slovenia.
